CLEANING JEWELLERY

1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 tablespoon washing up liquid
1 piece of tin foil
1 cup of boiling water

Method

Line a bowl with the tin foil.
Mix together salt, baking soda,washing up liquid add boiling water, stir together then pour into bowl.
Pop in your gold or silver jewellery that needs cleaning. Works well on rings with stones ie. engagement or eternity rings.
Leave for 2 to 3 hours.
Take out and rinse with warm water, leave to dry.
Your jewellery should be sparkling.

    • I have not tried it on white gold, I have only tried it on gold and silver rings and necklaces. On checking the internet, most of the methods for cleaning white gold use the same ingredients, as they are natural ingredients I don’t think there would be a problem however I would possibly leave out the salt, as this might be too harsh for the white gold.Hope this was of help to you.
