Review of 2013

This year has passed really quickly, I don’t know if it is because we are living in Tenerife and time passes quicker when you are enjoying yourself or is it because we are getting older and time appears to pass quicker.

We have had a good year, achieved some of the things I wanted, others I have in mind for next year. The most important thing is our health has been good, and when you are in good health you can cope with anything life throws at you.

The biggest change in my life this year has been my blog, I originally started it because 1. I had time on my hands  and 2. I wanted to share the info and tips I had acquired over the years.

My blog has taken a life of it’s own, I do put on my tips and info, but have found  myself fascinated by photography now, I take my camera everywhere I go in case there may be an opportune moment. I have enjoyed all the challenges presented by other bloggers, I like a good challenge, I have even tried writing a poem.

On checking my stats I have 80 followers which I find exciting and amazing, I follow 5o blogs all from different walks of life, I look forward to their adventures.

There are at the moment 969 views on my blog, I have been up and running for just over 6 months  so am quite impressed with that, I was hoping for 1000 before New Year but it does not look like that is going to happen now.

Happy New Year Everyone.

. “I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re Doing Something.”Neil Gaiman

Sunday Stills Challenge – White

These are the pictures I found, it is harder than you think to find white in photos.

Miniature Nativity village in Tenerife

While I was looking through my stored pictures for pictures I had taken at the eagle park I came across these lovely pictures of a typical canarian miniature nativity scene. This scene, was outside, beside a pavement and covered a fair distance. It was so enchanting, the attention to detail was amazing. Thought I would share , as it is the festive season.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Weekly Photo Challenge – Joy

Flowers bring me a lot of joy, today when I was walking down to the shops I noticed that the flame vine had flowered again, I took a picture of it in June in full flower because I thought it looked amazing then, and still does now, second time around.
