Going Natural

About 3 months ago I had a mole type lump on my head, turned out it was non cancerous and was treated by freezing, but it made me think about all the products you put on your hair, like shampoo, conditioner, gel, hair dye.

So I decided to try not using any of these products.

To wash my hair I use 1tsp bicarb to 1 cup water.

To condition I use 1tbsp vinegar to 1 cup water.

To replace my gel I use aloe vera gel.

I use 1tbsp dried sage soaked in boiling water for to dye my hair, I am naturally brown. Put this on most days and just let it dry naturally.

well 3 months later I am pleased with results, I have very fine hair and to start with it was very soft now using the aloe vera has helped to give it some body.

I use the sage to try to help with the grey, sometimes I think it is working, hard to telI as I don’t have much grey.

Must do better

I have been neglecting my blog over the past few months, although I have not been posting I have been collecting tips , ideas and recipes.

I retired recently so now have time to get back into action. Will have to make an effort to post at least once a week. Sometimes life just takes over, and you wonder where your time goes, but now I am going to make a conscious effort to get back into the swing of things, I really enjoy reading others posts and contributing with my own.

As anyone who reads my blog knows I prefer to use natural products when I can, so I have a few posts about my experience with new challenges.
